Description

Death Of Ophelia is my interpretation of Shakespeares Ophelia in his script "Hamlet". Many artists have been and are inspired by this as it's such and emotive act - suicide or drowning is not pretty, but Shakespeare certainly romanticised it and I have surrealised it.

A great deal of manipulation, digital painting and traditional painting. The finished work is highly contrasted but is not as soft finished as is appears. There is a slight grunge effect painted in and many small things you have to really seek. Georgiana Romanovna fine art
