Description
Notre-Dame-de-la-Vie sanctuary St-Martin-de-Belleville. Savoire, France.
Frequented since the 16th century and altered at the beginning of the 17th century to welcome an increasing number of pilgrims, it was erected according to the style of a Greek cross with four radiating chapels. It celebrates the life of the Virgin Mary and Oudéard’s paintings on the dome are dedicated to her ascension.

Thank you for your comment Chris. It was very difficult to take any images as they were through the locked gate. The exposures were very long and the camera was balanced on the gate/padlock as you couldn't use a tripod for the side altars at all. Couldn't go any wider without having a fisheye lens...I used 10mm.

Very nice lighting. I would like to see more of the ceiling in other views.

Thank you, Judy. The church was very dark. I had to use a very long exposure to get this amount of light.
